We are Kevin and Kim Hadley. We retired from the Army after serving for 21 years. After an assignment to Fort Riley many years ago, we knew that the Flint Hills was our ultimate destination–it’s so beautiful and we love the people.

But, like many of you, we’ve come a long way in our spiritual journey. Being brought up in non-denominational and baptistic churches was a great launching point, but when we started to have children–lots of children as it turned out–well…let’s just say that the ante was upped. We wanted to make sure that we knew what we were doing.

So we started investigating doctrine. Just what was it that we believed? That led to reformed Baptist writers like John Piper and John MacArthur. But, in turn, that also led to reformed Presbyterian writers like R.C. Sproul and Douglas Wilson.

Eventually, we grew to understand the continuity of God’s covenant with his people, how that connects our children to Him, and how that gives us hope to build His Kingdom in this present world.

We want to build the Kingdom with you.

Eventually, we envision starting a small church–but let’s start with a coffee or a beer on our porch.
